Finally pics...

Well, I should be doing laundry and making zucchini bread, but obviously I'm not! I'm finally posting pics from our trip. I totally dropped the ball and didn't take any pics with Tom and Brenda and their family who we stayed with in st. louis - sorry! They are some of my best friends. But enjoy the other pics of our trip to the midwest - it was so great to see you all - you are some of my best friends, who have been with me through some of life's highest highs and lowest lows - I wouldn't trade you for anything and I only wished our paths could cross more often - maybe they can once Matt gets his pilot's license ;)

My Allstar man...

Some of my good friends - Steve and Sharon Smith and their youngest son, Ben. I happened to be in town for one of his Allstar baseball games so my mom and I went to the game - it was so great to finally see him play. Steve was out of the country while I was there but it was great to see Sharon, Ben and Greg. You're going to see Ben in the Major Leagues one day in the not so distant future - we can only hope he comes and helps out the Pirates!

Grants Farm with the Bono family

Some of my best friends in St. Louis - Mark and Coleen Bono and their boys, Dylan and Jett. We went to Grant's Farm which I normally enjoy but it was so hot we weren't there long. And not sure Mark shares my same love for goats LOL.

St. Louis friends

On our first stop in St. Louis we stayed with Jack and Sherry Harris - my previous bosses and friends in St. Louis, but we didn't get any pictures with Jack and he left for Brazil when we got back. We met Sherry and my friend, Heather for lunch.

Kansas water park...

We decided to drive across the state line and hit the Kansas water park for the afternoon - the kids loved the water. Ignore my swimming attire but I couldn't pass up the pics of the babies in their swimsuits.

Our stay with the Geiser family...

I stayed for several days with Anthony, Christy and their kids - Tatum, Greta and AJ. Zoe loved playing with them. We went and picked berries, took the kids to the playground, played around their house - Zoe loved that pet shop farm thing - she is destined to be a farm girl :)

Joplin leg of the trip...

The last night I was there we went to Undercliff a restaurant built into the underside of a cliff (thus the name). Zoe Grace was so tired - we had been swimming at the waterpark all afternoon. This is my good friend Christy and I. We met 12 years ago in Colorado Springs, CO and have maintained our friendship through the good times and bad over the last 12 years.

I still haven't forgot about those of you checking the blog...I'll try to get pics up soon. We're busy picking black raspberries, taking care of our new baby goat Maggie, getting veggies from the garden along, preparing for an herb seminar and other stuff....
