Merry Christmas...

Here are some pics from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Zoe received lots of beautiful gifts. One of her favorites was her rocking horse that daddy made her - handcrafted from scratch! As you will see in the picture it is still not totally finished - he put lots of hours in it before Christmas, but just ran out of time. When it's finished I will be sure to post a couple pics of the finished product. Thanks, daddy! I will cherish it forever.

Merry Christmas

We'll be thinking about all of our loved ones as Christmas is upon us. Have a wonderful Christmas - enjoy it with your family and friends.

Remember as you enjoy the fellowship, food and gifts - let us not forget the real reason we are celebrating this day, the birth of Jesus Christ.

From our family to yours MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Rudolph?

We weren't liking being santa's helper - so I had to take the pic quick and give her a cookie to get a semi-decent pic!

My camera has gone to the grave so I am in the middle of getting another one. So I'll get more pics up when I can.

Here are the professional pics. I finally got the copyright for them. These are just a few of them. If you want to see all of them email me sunnychic36@hotmail.com and I'll give you the link to see all of them. Enjoy!

Christmas is upon us...

I will try to get some pics up soon. We had Zoe's professional one year pics taken and they turned out great - once I get the copyright release I'll post a few of those. Also, I know some of you are wondering: Yes, we did get our tree up and the bugs are all gone! Good thing because I am not fond of living creatures (other than cats and humans) in my house.

We're getting ready for Christmas. I guess I should get my shopping done. We had a Christmas party this past weekend at the house and we went Christmas caroling at the nursing home - it was a great time. Here are a few pics from that - to hold you over until I get more of Zoe up!

Birthday Pics...

Finally, I am getting some 1 year old birthday pics up for you. I don't have the greatest pics. We did get her professional pics taken on Wednesday so I'll get those up once I get them back. But for now here are some snapshots of Zoe's 1 year old birthday.

Coming Soon...

Pictures of the little princesses' 1st birthday! Yes, it was on Friday. I will get pics up as soon as I get some from other peoples cameras as I didn't get that many great ones with mine. Hold tight - I'll get the little princess pics up real soon!

O Christmas Tree...

On Saturday, we went to cut down our Christmas Tree. After much searching we decided on one. Zoe just took it all in. However, when we got our tree home - we realized it had bugs urgh! So now it is sitting in our front yard (yes, it looks rather hosier) after Matt sprayed it down and now we will wait a couple days and bring it back inside. So, it is safe to say my tree is not up and decorated yet! But we are getting there. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Take time and remember to be thankful. I know I have so many things to be thankful for. Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the stresses of life and forget how truly blessed we are. So many things we often take for granted like family, friends, health, living in a free country with clean water and fresh food. The list goes on. This will be Zoe's first Thanksgiving and we are so grateful for her.
Sorry it's been so long since I've put pics up -just really haven't taken any lately. I've been working on catching up the scrapbook! Here are some pics we had taken from Target a few weeks back with cousin Starr. I'll get some more pics up this weekend from Thanksgiving and Zoe's 1 year birthday!

Happy Veteran's Day!

On Wednesday night, we went to the annual Veteran's Celebration Service at my parents church. Every year I attend this service as a simple act of saying THANK YOU to all the men and women that have served our country and are currently serving our country. Among those men that have served are my grandpap (Morris Houck), my dad (Arthur L Houck) and my father-in-law (Charles Hensler).
I am so thankful for these men and women as well as several of my friends that have recently served or who are currently serving our country. These dear men and women have paid a great price for our freedom, some of them have even given their lives.
Please make sure to thank a vet when you see them, whether it's Veteran's
Day or any other day of the year - thank them for serving our country and giving you your freedom!
God Bless America!
