Coming Soon...

Pictures of the little princesses' 1st birthday! Yes, it was on Friday. I will get pics up as soon as I get some from other peoples cameras as I didn't get that many great ones with mine. Hold tight - I'll get the little princess pics up real soon!

O Christmas Tree...

On Saturday, we went to cut down our Christmas Tree. After much searching we decided on one. Zoe just took it all in. However, when we got our tree home - we realized it had bugs urgh! So now it is sitting in our front yard (yes, it looks rather hosier) after Matt sprayed it down and now we will wait a couple days and bring it back inside. So, it is safe to say my tree is not up and decorated yet! But we are getting there. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Take time and remember to be thankful. I know I have so many things to be thankful for. Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the stresses of life and forget how truly blessed we are. So many things we often take for granted like family, friends, health, living in a free country with clean water and fresh food. The list goes on. This will be Zoe's first Thanksgiving and we are so grateful for her.
Sorry it's been so long since I've put pics up -just really haven't taken any lately. I've been working on catching up the scrapbook! Here are some pics we had taken from Target a few weeks back with cousin Starr. I'll get some more pics up this weekend from Thanksgiving and Zoe's 1 year birthday!

Happy Veteran's Day!

On Wednesday night, we went to the annual Veteran's Celebration Service at my parents church. Every year I attend this service as a simple act of saying THANK YOU to all the men and women that have served our country and are currently serving our country. Among those men that have served are my grandpap (Morris Houck), my dad (Arthur L Houck) and my father-in-law (Charles Hensler).
I am so thankful for these men and women as well as several of my friends that have recently served or who are currently serving our country. These dear men and women have paid a great price for our freedom, some of them have even given their lives.
Please make sure to thank a vet when you see them, whether it's Veteran's
Day or any other day of the year - thank them for serving our country and giving you your freedom!
God Bless America!

Time to clean up...

ALL THE LEAVES! Winter is coming - all the trees are bare now. Zoe was liking the leaves, then she had enough!
